Susanne Parmentier lives and works in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany.

Since 1996, I have attended painting courses at the Frankfurter Malakademie e.v. Since 1999, I have attended printmaking courses at the Print Workshop with Walter Hanusch, aand have taken part in several group exhibitions as well as holding 3 solo exhibitions.

The main body of my work consists of paintings in oil and acrylics.

By adopting a spontaneous and open style of painting and the deliberate reduction of form, my work gives a fleeting impression of the subject. Much of the content is just hinted at – thus it allows the viewer to create his own interpretation of the work.
