I love glass…. the colours, the transparency, the light as it shines through and the colours as they dance across the floor or window sill. I’ve been playing with glass for over 20 years and I am still fascinated by every aspect. My latest journey is lampworking, using a torch to create colourful beads that can be made into necklaces and bracelets etc. Also, little twisty bits and pieces that can be included in my other work, kiln forming glass. This is more like making glass sandwiches! Layers and layers of colours melted all together in a kiln and then slumped into bowls, panels and other functional and decorative works of art including large architectural panels.
